NAME: ALEX GUTERBOCK

HOMETOWN: CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA

As we wrap up our Meet the Fellows blog posts, please welcome Alex Guterbock, the second fellow from the Milwaukee office! Alex recently graduated from the University of Delaware where she received an honors degree in Public Policy and International Relations.

During the fellowship so far, Alex has been spending much of her time working at the front desk, as the Milwaukee office is the only America Works office that is currently open in person. While this position has had its challenges, Alex has valued this experience serving as one of the first points of contact in the office as it has allowed her to become more familiar with a lot of aspects of the program in a short period of time. She enjoys the opportunities that this has provided her, to work directly with the clients, and understand on a more personal level what their needs are and what they are going through. Alex looks forward to continuing to build relationships with the clients throughout her time in the fellowship.
